For 5 years and up, this class offers a fun and friendly introduction to acrobatic dance. Acro dance is a style that combines the techniques of classical dance with acrobatic movements. This form of dance is very athletic and has unique choreography to incorporate gymnastic-like elements into dance. Made popular by TV shows like ‘Dance Moms’ kids really want to learn how to execute the tricks shown in these programs and on Youtube. Students will learn the foundations for these moves, stretch and condition the body in order to gain the flexibility and strength required to safely execute the tricks. All of these elements will also develop and support their other dance styles.
Learn all the styles of Hip Hop – modern to old school, including lyrical Hip Hop, Girly Hip Hop, breaking, locking, popping, krumping and afro – while building strength and keeping fit! With the evolution of hip hop and
